Sprouts Play Barn

Great for kids plus great coffee for the parents and carers. Indoor and outdoor play with plenty of seating area, baby changing, toilets and private party areas.

We are here for the 12pm session, the sessions last 2 hours. There are no benches/ tables available so we are forced to sit round the corner, by reception on the shoe and coat storage. I approached the dark haired lady on reception regarding the issue and she told us to remove people’s belongings from tables because they aren’t reserved even with their belongings on them. My question is, what if they are queuing in the cafe waiting to be served? Imagine coming back to a table with a tray full of drinks and food on the way and someone is at your table? It was also suggested that I pull up a chair in front of me and use that as a table for my hot food (there are no spare chairs even available, even if I stooped that low). The real issue here is that Iv paid £20 for my 6 year old to play for two hours, whilst me and my husband wait on coat and shoe storage. I physically can’t keep a proper eye on him from this point, I have to stand round the front. Why are you letting more people in than you can seat? You’re losing a customer in us today, because we won’t be travelling the hour it takes for us to get here, to not even be able to eat at lunch time and be sat in the way of others trying to store their shoes and coats. Do better. Absolutely ridiculous.
