We arrived at the birthday party about half an hour early. As the birthday child’s mum hadn’t arrived yet and there was still 30 minutes until the party was due to start, we were kindly asked to wait outside. I completely understand that there may be rules regarding when guests can enter, but unfortunately there isn’t really anywhere comfortable to wait outside. There are no seats or waiting areas, just the car park. This could be particularly difficult for families who have arrived by bus or public transport. Inside, there also doesn’t seem to be a designated area where parents can sit and wait or watch the children. It feels as though guests are expected to arrive exactly when the party starts and leave as soon as the allocated party time finishes. I just wanted to share this as feedback, as I don’t feel the venue is particularly convenient or child-friendly for families, especially those arriving without a car. Having a small waiting area or somewhere for parents to sit would make the experience much more comfortable.

My nephew had the best time in the baby area, friendly helpful staff , served the best ice cream and ice caramel coffee. No waiting time.

I wish I could give zero stars. I don't often write reviews for things but I felt completely compelled to write this to encourage other parents to choose somewhere else to spend their cash. We have been to this softplay many times over the years and I would not have thought to look at the reviews until now. They are all terrible and I completely agree with them. The responses from management/ owners are the real nail in the coffin and perfectly represent the type of people they are so I don't even really need to write my own review below but I will anyway. It has always been the case that you can't take outside food and drink in and it has always charged for adults and generally higher prices. All of that I'm aware of, and fine with as it is of course my choice to go and the kids have always had a lovely time. However, today we were told we were not allowed our water bottles in with us and had to leave them at the desk. At a soft play, with children running around, in August, at somewhere encouraging active movement. The sole reason for this is to make yet more money from customers and charge £2.25 for a jug of good old council pop. This is just one step too far for me I'm afraid and in a petty way, I refused to buy my usual coffee and snacks and put any money in the quads. Whoever made this rule is incredibly short sighted and no doubt will suffer as more people like me and my friends just simply won't come back. The attitude towards other customers reviewing is also disgusting. Just because you bury this rule deep in your terms and conditions, does not make it right and the aggressive demeanour is not inviting. It must be simply awful to work at a place like this and I do feel for any staff who are having to enforce this stupid rule. Ps. Maidstone leisure centre soft play is amazing with fantastic staff and so much better value.
