Jungle Play - Goodsheds

I visited with jungle play at the Goodsheds in Barry today with my 9 month old and it was quite bad. The baby and toddler area was constantly having older children throw themselves in there with no consideration for the younger babies. Most parents did ask their children to leave however this kept happening and I couldn’t enjoy my time with my baby due to having to constantly shield her from older children. This could be improved my having higher sides on the baby area. There also needs to be more staff supervision, the member of staff was hardly present during my hour visiting and maybe the children would be better behaved if there was staff present. As well as the safety issue, the baby and toddler area has hardly no appeal for younger babies with no toys or sensory exploration apart from the crocodile on the wall which is too high for babies who aren’t yet standing.

We’ve been visiting this lovely little play centre every week, and it’s become one of our favourite places to go. My child absolutely loves it and is always excited to come back. The play area is clean, safe, and well looked after, with plenty to keep little ones entertained. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere for both children and parents. It’s the perfect place for little ones to play, explore, and make new friends while parents can enjoy a coffee and a chat. We always have a great experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, affordable, friendly play centre for young children.

Perfect for toddler aged children. Air conditioned! Great selection of drinks and snacks and wonderful staff. Our weekly routine we love it xx
