Fun HQ Cardiff

Arrived at 12:30 and got told we could go in now and lose 30 minutes of play time or come back at 1 and have the full 2 hours. So we spent 20 minutes walking around outside and came back at 12:50. Went to the front to buy 2 tickets and got told they're all out for the 1pm slot and to come back at 2. Seriously? To top it off there's no gate to stop kids from running outside and to stop random strangers from coming in. While we were waiting for the 1pm slot a child did run outside. A staff member noticed then asked 2 random men to keep an eye on them while they tried to find a parent. 2 random men keep that in mind. The lady at the reception just told me to come back at 1 there was no mention of keeping an eye on availability. When I confronted her for wasting my time she did say she would get my children in with a "fine I'll do it" kind of attitude but at that point I didn't want this place to have a penny from me. We went to Mambos instead which is about 10 minutes away from this place and the kids had a blast.

Nice clean place. Kids had lots of fun. Food was reasonably priced. You have 2 hour slot per session in the kids play area. Which is more than enough. There is two separate area. One side is kids play area and other side is climbing section. You have to pay for each section

We paid £30 for the climbing which was great - can pre-book online. We went then to go and purchase soft play bands afterwards (queued at quarter to eleven) to be told there were only 2 bands left (we had four children). So you cant pre book softplay online but you can purchase soft play earlier than the session times but this is not advertised. Just a pre- warning for anyone whose attending there. Rules there do not make sense. How can you not pre-book softplay but you can go in and pre-book prior to the session but no advertisment you can do this?
