Hiland Play

Despite quite bad rating, I decided to give this place a.chance and I fully regret it. As others mentioned above overpriced, quite small, unpleasant smell, no toilets and no food served as the description states . Very deceiving. They only sell overpriced toys and sweets that children can easily reach giving the parents lots of stress. I went there with my 6 year old daughter . After about 45 mins, the man asked me to leave as my daughter was climbing etc. She got excited and after telling not to do so, she followed instructions. The worst thing though was that there was another girl similar in age to my daughter, who was behaving in a similar way , but the man was fine with that . Maybe, he said something to her ,but she continued playing. When I confronted the man with this , he had no answer for me. Therefore, on top of everything, the place seems to be discriminatory, too. The man also lied to me that our time was up although there were other people, who got there before us. Plus , I am not stupid and remembered what time I got there. He could have at least offered some refund if he were decent instead of lying and ripping me off. I have never been to such unwelcoming softplay. If they feel that older children are unsafe or dangerous, they should limit it to 1-5 year olds rather than 10 year olds. Absolutely disgusting, unwelcoming and discriminatory place. I wouldn't give any stars if I could. My advice is avoid by all means. Update: Whoever responded to my feedback said they didn't agree with certain things I said. That's their opinion and they had the right to express it , but it doesn't change the fact that myself and my daughter experienced it as described above. It was a very traumatic experience for my daughter and a massive shock for me as we often visit different soft plays , always have a lovely time and are treated respectfully by the members of staff . This one was totally opposite. Maybe, we were just unlucky ones and for some reason picked on. Therefore, this fair treatment etc that they mentioned in their reply definitely didn't refer to us. I am not sure and I don't really want to find out because we will stay away from that place as they wished by asking us to leave before our paid time was over .

Lovely little softplay in East Ham, much needed! My 4 year old and 2 year old were impressed and not ready to leave after an hour. Clean, thoughtful play area w/ sensory play in mind. The slides are super slippery which the kids loved but my heart skipped a beat a few times watching my 2 yr old on top. Extra charge (£3.50) for an adult to go in which i thought was a bit pricey considering I'd already paid £8.75 for my almost 2 year old and £10 for my 4 year old for a 1 hour session. 1 other thing I didn't love was that they put lollies, sweets, drinks and small toys at child height level so they inevitably pick up things they want. You can easily have a bad ending to a great time if your kid has a meltdown because they didn't get something they saw.
