Grass Hoppers Indoor & Outdoor Play (Otley Garden Centre)

The play area is very nice and interactive. Its all very clean. The outdoor area is lacking a little compared to the other grasshoppers locations. Prices in the cafe are a little steep for some items, I was charged £2.09 for a cup of soya milk....I could have bought a carton for less than that!

So I had booked for the 12-2 session for my grandaughters birthday, the doors opened at exactly 12, luckily we were near the front but it did take a few minutes to get it & get our code scanned which by the way what a farce just trying to book online. Anyway there was quite a queue behind us & I noticed that it took up to fifteen minutes for most of that queue to get in which means they had less time than the slotted 2 hours which is not really fair when at 1.50 a tannoy announced that the allotted 2 hours was nearly finished. Open finding a table there was in my opinion an overpriced food menu but no drinks menu so I went to order 1 cup Of tea, 2 cups of coffee a juice box & a small cupcake which came to over £15 again overpriced (in my opinion). It was very cold in there. I went to the toilet to which there was only 3 cubicles & the baby changing area( if you can call it that) was at the end of the cubicles in a dark corner. The actually play area is quite large to one side of the building with a lot of surrounding tables. My granddaughter said she had fun but for the farce of having to book & overpriced menu I think we will look elsewhere when she next wants to go to a play centre.

Very busy today. Only one table left when I got in. Some carers not supervising-older boys stopping younger children from going into role play areas
