We had a lovely time at Monkey Mates! The soft play is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and offer great value for money. A lovely place for children to have fun — we’ll definitely be back!

Left almost immediately. The toys are so old and almost universally damaged in one way or another. I used to bring my eldest and nothing has changed for more than a decade, at least. The place absolutely filthy. The under 2s section was thick with grime and filth, both the mats and the toys. The female toilets were closed and the men’s were also a state (see the radiator picture for an indication). Not somewhere you want to be changing a two-year-old. I appreciate the cost of refurbishing/updating is great and I get a sense it’s just being run into the ground until it eventually shuts. It’s clear that Monkey Mates is in desperate need of investment or it should just close down to be honest. Such a shame. I know companies have the opportunity to respond and usually spin a story, but you’ll see for yourself if you chance it. I’d avoid wasting the money.
