York Leisure Centre

As a visitor not knowing the area we were relieved to park in the small parking at the leisure center not realising that there is tons of parking all around the complex. Leisure center itself is nice and modern with friendly staff and a cafe. There are many other cafés and entertainments in the vicinity.

Just taken 2 grandkids to Family float fun,they both really enjoyed it. Plenty of life guards around all the time,if your child wants to go in the deep end they test them by making them swim from deep end to shallow end which I think is a great idea. Loads of floats for everyone to use . The only thing I would say is we found the pool to be on the cooler side but dont let this put you off. We did go in the small pool whilst waiting for the main pool to open and its fair to say from what I could see there was plenty of things for littlies to do including a splash type area which I know my grandkids would love even though they're 8 and 10.Price wise I didnt think it was too bad . All in all my 2 really enjoyed the hour ,and Im sure we will be back. I deffinitley recommend.

Friendly staff and plenty of activities to do. Clean and reasonably priced activities. Definitely worth a visit.
